I have been living in two worlds since age 17 after reading Huston Smith’s The Religions of Man,The Sermon on the Mount according to Vedanta, The Dhammapada, the Tao Te Ching, The Way of the Sufi and several other great religions works. On one hand, I realized that that all great world religions pointed to the same truth. And just what is the ultimate truth? Universal unconditional love for all. On the other hand, I realized that the overt and shadow leaders of the “civilized” nations were not working towards achieving the ultimate truth thus leading many people to believe that the only way to true peace and understanding was to opt out of society.

So at age 18, I was torn. Should I move to a Tibet mountain and achieve enlightenment or enjoy the material delights of the electronic age -- I was and still am early adopter of electronic technology, iphone, etc. The voice inside my head said stay and play and so I did.

However, I never stopped seeking to understand the world from a larger and higher perspective. My larger perspective included a study of government, religious and corporate institutions since these three bodies appeared responsible for how wealth was created and distributed. My higher perspective included an inquiry to what lies before and after this life. All great religions point to an after life of pure delight if you behaved in this life or... hell if you didn’t. Something akin to the Santa Clause message for adults. But, was it that simple?

After reading many more books, meeting and talking to people inside and outside the U.S. with a range of views - conservative to liberal --- and employment in both public and private sector organizations, I have come to an understanding of both the larger perspective and higher perspective.

My understanding of the larger perspective is that we (all human beings) have been persuaded/duped into believing that prosperity should be measured by economic growth. In other words, by increasing our economic output, we increase the ”standard of living” for our society. This has been the economic model for centuries with each successive world empire -- e.g. Roman, British & now the US. This model has succeeded in the past because those humans displaced by the concentration & extraction of wealth/treasure had the option of relocating to another part of the world to begin a new life-- such as those that have immigrated to the U.S. (page 23, When Corporations Rule the World.)

But, there are no more new lands to resettle and begin anew. There are no more free natural resources to harvest. For one country to continuing grow in the 21st century, another needs to be exploited for its cheap labor and natural resources. Under the pretense of a “war on terror” the US invaded Iraq to liberate their people from a brutal dictator but in fact it was really part of a plan to seize control of their oil reserves as publicly confirmed by Alan Greenspan in his book, The Age of Turbulence: Adventures in a New World... “ I am saddened that it is politically inconvenient to acknowledge what everyone knows: the Iraq war is largely about oil” What was to be a quick resource snatch has turned out to be quagmire of epic proportions.

So, as long as we the people measure success as continued economic growth, we will be both perpetrators and victims to the domestic and international policies that support the corporation’s right to extract wealth for their shareholders by whatever means necessary. Ironically, we (humans) have legally created corporations (paper entities without a soul or conscience) to steer the development and enforcement of social policies that benefit only shareholders who represent a fraction of the earth’s human population. Corporate power is already very evident in how they have influenced the votes of US elected officials to extend the Iraq war even though is not supported by large majority of the U.S. voters. Without a change in how “for profit” corporations are created and managed, I believe there will be continued wars and a steady decrease in economic prosperity for those not in the top 10%.

My understanding of the higher perspective is that we are not alone. Astronomers and Quantum Physicists understand the vastness of space between planets, galaxies and universes and the mystery of the space between our atoms and molecules. The more they study, the more they discover how much they don’t know. So what is the higher perspective? We are all third dimension (3-D) incarnations of our immortal souls that live in the 12th or higher dimension. Just like the middle school science project that shows how varying densities of oils can sit on top of each other without mixing, we can only perceive third dimensional space since higher (“finer” not better) dimensions are too fine to be seen with our third dimensional physical eyes. Yet, the higher dimensions can be seen with your “third eye” which is activated by your pituitary gland. Psychics with “clairvoyant” abilities can see into these higher dimensions. For them, the world is a kaleidoscope of color and energy streamers as dramatically depicted by the paintings of Alex Gray.

All human beings have the ability to see with their “third eye” and receive information through the other six “Clair” (meaning “clear or bright”) senses - Clairvoyant, Clairsentient , Clairaudient,, Clairalience, Claircognizant & Clairgustance. Some are born with these senses wide open and often undergoing harrowing childhoods trying to live in two worlds, not knowing whether they are crazy since not all see, hear & feel and/or affirm what they are seeing and experiencing. Many of those diagnosed as schitzophrentic are those caught between worlds, not able to anchor in this realty on a consistent basis. The recent television series called “Medium” is an example of a fictional character living in two worlds with adversaries both seen and unseen. It begs the question of just who is the crazy person. The informed or uninformed.

I have now come to an understanding that the larger perspective (the few steering the many) and the higher perspective (an existence that is far greater and powerful than we can imagine) can be merged to create a new perspective. The new perspective is simply that we can collectively heal our society if we first.. heal ourselves.

Like the saying, “think globally, act locally” the first step for anyone wanting to help create a new society that provides abundance, perfect health and peace to all citizen of the world is to HEAL YOURSELF first. Your contribution to healing the planet is to take responsibility for healing the emotional wounds that inhibit you from manifesting your dreams, whatever they may be. No one else can do this but yourself. And the only person that can prevent you from healing yourself is you. Who can heal you? You. All healing is self-healing in that we choose to allow our bodies to heal by making healthy choices for our emotional, mental & physical and well being. The healing process begins by asking for inner guidance/using your intuition on what is the first step. The guidance may recommend a personal journey (I can do this) and/or the enlistment of a “Healer” to teach you how to self-heal.

As a “Healer” I serve as a facilitator of the healing process. In fact, all healing is self-healing by the fact that each sovereign human being chooses whether they live in good health or not. There have been numerous articles and books written by people that have healed themselves of cancer or other injuries through sheer intent and will power without the aid of any modern medical technology. No disrespect or disregard is intended for the current medical professionals working in hospitals. They serve a necessary function in caring for those that could and cannot now care for themselves.

However, most if not all disease is curable by preventing the “dis” “ease” at its inception through healthy diets, regular exercise and emotional peace. A body that is out of balance can also be healed quickly -- without prescription drugs -- using energy medicine techniques that have been in existence for many centuries such as acupuncture.

There are over 60 different forms of “energy medicine” that provide non-allopathic forms of healing for various conditions. Energy medicine focuses on healing the energetic or light body that is not seen but provides the electricity or life force to keep our organs (and mind) functioning. If an energy pathway is blocked from delivering life force to a particular organ, that organ will eventually fail. Essentially, “energy medicine” treats the true cause of any “dis” - “ease.” Organ failure and/or the development of cancerous cells is due to an imbalance in the energy body. An imbalance can be caused through environmental conditions - breathing, drinking and/or eating a toxin over a short or long period or due to an emotional pain that prevents the life force (also knows as “qi” or “prana“) from traveling through your meridians (energy pathways.)

I measure prosperity as the degree to which all human beings have emotional, mental and physical health and the opportunity to learn all that is known and master whatever skill is desired -- health & education. If those two things are addressed, all other things flow effortlessly and delightfully. A human population in perfect health (emotionally, mentally & physically) and unlimited access to knowledge and skill development can maintain a balanced society that provides abundance to all. Such a society would sustain a true democracy and elect only leaders that made decisions with integrity. Such a society would never make war nor create divisions between different ethnicities, genders & cultural preferences. There would be no fear of the unknown to incite conflict. Such a society would allocate their resources based on love and compassion for all.

My life mission is to develop awareness in all of mankind that such a society can be created one person at a time. It does not require an overthrow of any government. It simply requires each individual to heal themselves - emotionally, mentally and physically. Once healed, that person provides a template for others to emulate and begin healing themselves. Eventually, the healed persons will outnumber the unhealed persons and then we will have the opportunity to elect “healed” leaders to pass laws that move our society back to a balanced state. It is the “quiet” revolution. Will you join me?
