I have 19+ years experience as a Human Resource Professional in public and private sector organizations.  During those years, I was responsible for teaching managers how to lead their direct reports toward achieving group and organizational objectives using heart based management solutions & systems.  

During that same time, I was also an avid reader of self-help and new-age books in his attempt to answer the universal questions of: Who am I?  Where am I going? & Where have I been??  

In  December 2007, I resigned from my HR management position and began devoting himself full-time to being a Spiritual Life Coach & Healer.   


Why am I qualified to Coach?
Education, work & lIfe experience. However, the better question would be: am I qualified to coach you? The answer depends on whether my education, work/life experience and skills are of benefit to you.  

Who is a good life coach? Just as a student of mountain climbing would want a teacher who had climbed many mountains in a variety of weather conditions, a competent life coach should be able to draw their experience from both successful and failed endeavors in a variety of work and social settings.  

A competent life coach would also have an educational background that demonstrated personal discipline and mastery as well as a work & life experience in different cultures to indicate a capacity for a wider human perspective. Above all, a competent life coach would understand the concept of patience & timing.


Why am I qualified to Heal?
Because of my ability to inspire hope and provide tools for you to restore your physical and etheric body back to its original healed state.

All human beings are healers in varying degrees since it is the person seeking the healing that is the healer.  All healing is really self-healing.  The person(s) they seek to do the “healing” is, in fact, the facilitator of the healing process through their tools and mastered techniques.  It is the healer’s role to create and maintain a safe energetic space in which the person can undergo the healing process.

Healing takes place when the person seeking healing, sets the intention to engage in the healing process with a person that has the ability to apply their healing techniques.  My skill is in helping people identify and clear toxic emotional energy, behavioral patterns and old stories that have prevented them from manifesting what they desire.

Education
I graduated from The Cate School  in 1977,  earned a undergraduate degree (B.A.) in Journalism and a graduate degree (M.A.) in Industrial Relations (Human Resources) in 1988 at the University of Oregon . I also earned a SPHR certification as a “Senior Professional in Human Resources” in 1995 and a CCP certification as a “Certified Compensation Professional” in 1997.

Summary of Work Experience
Throughout my 30+ years as an employee of various organizations - public & private -- I have had the opportunity to meet and work with people in three continents and a variety of business settings from manufacturing to high tech.  I spent my first ten years working in the hospitality business (restaurants & hotels) where I learned how to communicate and prioritize work assignments in high stress/fast paced work environments.

For the remaining 19 years, I learned how to navigate office politics, build teams and  coach managers on how to lead and change organization culture both domestically and abroad.  I know the pain felt by small businesses trying to make their weekly payroll and the flush of large corporations that were trying to keep their best talent from jumping ship during the internet gold rush of the late 90’s.  Boom or bust, my work has always been about how to help people reach their true potential in whatever their chosen profession.
